CEO & Designer

Robert Baker

My imagination as a child has always steered me into jobs where I was required to think outside the box and utilise problem solving skills to overcome obstacles.

This ability has enabled me to become a professional in my field and afforded me the abilty to utilise my skill set to embark on this journey to create unique custom designs, prototypes and functional parts for industry by way of additive manufacturing processes.

A strong design background in CAD and a willingness to excel has lea me to offer this service to all of you.

I am eager to hear your thoughts and ideas and together I hope we can create something you may have only dreamed of!

The main driving force behind starting this venture was most likely one you can all relate to... A passion for design and a want to see the designs become a physical object that you can hold in your hands!

3D Printed Components

All 3D Printed products are made by the Plastic Extrusion method. This means that plastic is heated and layered upon itself to build the final part. As a result the resulting completed parts are not as strong as normal injection moulded plastics. In addition the point at which the plastic becomes pliable is a lot less than regular plastics. It is not recommended to use 3D Printed parts for use in confined spaces that are subject to high temperatures as the parts may distort. Examples include; inside a hot car, in direct sunlight for prolonged periods or any other area that can potentially exceed 50 Degrees Celsius and above. We are not responsible for any damage as a result of high heat exposure.

All Parts are 3D printed in PLA/PLA+ unless otherwise stated. Productions times will vary on the design and intricacy of the product.

Note:
3D Printed Parts are not like Injection Moulded Parts. The surface will show extrusion rings, artefacts, blemishes and other signs of plastic extrusion. This will occur with any 3D Printed parts using the FDM method of printing as we do. Slanted and curved vertical (Z Axis) surfaces will show more extrusions, artefacts, blemishes and signs of plastic extrusion than flatter parts. This in no way deters from the parts functionality. All parts are inspected prior to shipment. If you feel the item you have purchased is not to the standard you expect please contact gcod3dcustoms@gmail.com.
